LOCAL (Alphabetical by state)

FLORIDA

Big Dog Ranch Rescue
We've supported BDRR with in-kind donations of our martingale collars. While their name suggests they support only big dogs, their efforts reach out to all dogs - large AND small. Located on the east coast, Big Dog Ranch Rescue started out as a Weimaraner Rescue, and today offers shelter and adoption services to all dogs in need.

Animal Welfare League, Port Charlotte FL
This Southwest Florida shelter is where The Artful Canine's local efforts go. We are a business member, and love how hard they work to place dogs in Fur-ever Homes. If you are local and looking for a dog, please try this place first.

Quality of Life Rehab & Foster, Ocala, FL
In addition to the typical functions of a shelter, this group does community outreach, giving pet owners the opportunity to "foster" their pet while QoL works to place them in another home. They help animals of all kinds.

Satchel's Last Resort, Sarasota FL
Satchel's is a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats pulled from high-kill animal control centers and rescues in the Sarasota and Manatee County. They provide lifelong shelter to dogs deemed unadoptable, nurture and train borderline dogs, and offer temporary shelter to adoptable dogs whose owners can no longer care for them.

MISSOURI

Center for Animal Rescue & Enrichment of St. Louis
Founded in 2018, this group envisions a world where all animals are nurtured in body, mind, and heart. Its mission is to create a supportive community rooted in collaboration, compassion, and caring for people and animals. You can adopt, volunteer, foster and donate to this shelter.

NEW JERSEY

Burlington County Animal Alliance
BCAA is a 501 (c) non profit group, and 100% of our proceeds go to animals in our care which includes spaying and neutering and all other medical treatments required for the dog and cat to enjoy a long and healthy life. BCAA is a network of fosters and all animals are taken care of in our own homes.

TEXAS

North Texas Basset Hound Rescue, Ft. Worth Texas
Give a hound a happy home by rescuing a basset from this wonderful group! Based in Ft. Worth Texas, this rescue has been working hard at saving and placing Bassett Hounds since 1984.
